Barbara is a consummate performer and creator. From an early age, she felt equally driven to bring stories and characters to life and to create beauty from the materials around her. Her diverse skillset includes seamstressing, wedding and specialty cake decorating, fire dancing, Marilyn Monroe impersonations, and creative writing.
Outside of her creative endeavors, Barbara is deeply interested in community and advocacy. She is co-chair of the UBCP/ACTRA Queer Committee and offers mentorship in a variety of her areas of expertise. She’s also an avid traveler. After visiting more than a dozen countries, Barbara developed a great love of New Zealand. After returning home, she went on to become a member of her city’s resident Kapa Haka performance group.
Barbara has over 20 years’ experience in corporate entertainment and performance improv. She has also played a variety of roles both on-stage and in front of the camera. Recent credits include appearances on popular TV shows including The 100, Riverdale, iZombie and The Detour.
With a joy for creating and a desire to make a difference, Barbara is excited to make every event fun, moving, and memorable.
